Code adopted under the Act Respecting Safety in Sports

  1. Maintain control of your speed and direction. Make sure you are able to stop and avoid any person or obstacle.

  2. Yield the right of way to people downstream (lower) and head in a direction that ensures their safety.

  3. Stop on a trail only if you are visible to people upstream (higher up) and are not obstructing the trail.

  4. Yield to those above you when entering a trail and at intersections.

  5. If you are involved in or witness an accident, remain at the scene and identificate yourself to a rescue worker.

  6. Use and wear a proper equipment retention system at all times.

  7. Do not use the lifts and trails if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  8. Obey all signs and warnings and never venture off the trail or onto closed trails.

The practice of a snow sport involves inherent risks that the use of common sense and carefulness can help reduce.

For a safe and rewarding experience, you must respect the Code of Conduct at all times and show courtesy to others.

You must respect all other rules and signs posted or otherwise indicated by the ski resort.

Be vigilant and respect the Code. It is your responsibility!
