Think About Your Clothing

Clothing should be appropriate for snow sports and other multi-activity trail experiences. It should be warm enough to avoid chills, but not too tight fitting to facilitate movement. It is advisable to wear several layers of thermal clothing to adapt to the temperature. Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended when participating in any snow sport. Furthermore, it is mandatory in the snow parks and on mountain bikes. Don’t forget your goggles for good visibility. A little tip: for good blood circulation, avoid wearing a second pair of socks.

Think About Your Equipment

The rental department offers ski or snowboard, mountain bike and snowshoe equipment according to your size and height. If you already have your own equipment, make sure you have it ready. Our technicians can help you adjust and service it if needed.

Visit the Learning Areas

For your first runs, the magic carpet and Mini-Zoo are the ideal places to start. This is the best area to master the basic skills before moving on to the different trails. We also have our Fun Zone where you can get used to sliding; it’s free! Our mountain ambassadors are also available to answer any questions should you need any help. By mountain bike, follow the directions to the beginner and easy trails.

A Few Final Tips

  • Arrive at least 45 minutes before your ski lesson.

  • Wear sunscreen. Even in the winter, you could get a sunburn. It even protects against frostbite!

  • Take breaks, drink lots of water and don't forget your snack.

  • The golden rule is control!

Maintain control of your speed and direction. Make sure you are able to stop and avoid all people and obstacles. Skiers, snowboarders and cyclists are responsible for their own manoeuvres. They must choose trails that are appropriate for their skill level and remain alert so they can react quickly to avoid collisions. Please consult the code of conduct (see below) for a safe experience on the slopes.
